Climbed Mt Massive last Summer -- my first 14er!
(I also laser-cut the sign)
Hello! I’m Victoria, a Product Manager II at DISH in Colorado. I currently lead the Customer Communications team, focused on optimizing, designing, and maintaining all platforms of customer-facing communications for over 8 million customers (totaling ~32 million messages per month).
Before my role at DISH, I studied Design + Economics at UPenn. There, I learned about user experience design and product thinking through taking graduate-level courses within the university’s Integrated Product Design program. I was able to explore these interests as a CX Design Intern at Amtrak where I designed customer journey flows, created low to high fidelity interfaces, and uncovered insights through conducting customer interviews and sifting through Tableau dashboards.
My time at Amtrak was invaluable in allowing me to hone in on my design strategy, UX/UI, and storytelling skills. Upon graduation, I ultimately chose to pursue a career in product management because I wanted to be a pivotal decision-maker from product/feature ideation to execution. I find that the PM role offers a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between design and business. It captures the dynamic elements I loved about design--like user empathy, constant iteration, and problem-solving--with the analytical rigor and strategic thinking of economics.
Outside of work, I’m either watercolor painting, experimenting with a new design software, or hiking in the Rockies.
