Brand Identity

The 18th Wrocław Biennial, entitled “SURVIVAL”, focuses on a theme of mass media, the integration of art in urban environments, industrialization, and innovation. As part of a design challenge, I created a speculative brand identity and design system for the biennial that would take place a few months later.

Wrocław’s architecture is whimsical and with its pastel colors and ornate facades. I found the tension between this city’s delicate architecture and the SURVIVAL’s aggressive theme as a source of inspiration for the biennial’s visual identity.
